Boutique Hotel

Panoramic ocean scenes and direct access to glorious Pigeon Beach are just a fraction of what this stylish boutique hotel will have to offer. It is currently being developed from a charming historic house and adjacent cottages which served as the inspiration behind the Windward Bay Estate project.
The 12-room complex boasting superlative services and a private swimming pool is flanked by Pigeon Beach to the west and Windward Bay to the east. There are striking ocean views from the open terrace, sundeck, pool and shaded communal lounge with low comfortable sofas. A large gazebo-covered dining area is located to one side with breakfast served daily, and there is an additional sitting room inside. The spacious bedrooms blend rustic colonial themes with contemporary tones and island chic.
Bookings can be made per room or for the entire hotel which is suited to everything from a family celebration to an intimate wedding.

Catherine’s Cafe

The laidback vibe of a Parisian café meets the barefoot cool of a beach club at the newly revamped Catherine’s Café. The 100-seater French restaurant – now in its third decade – is arguably one of Antigua’s most frequented eateries.
Creative Provence-style cuisine with fresh local ingredients is complemented by a quality wine selection, inspired cocktails and a new beach menu featuring sharing plates like French tartines.
Catherine’s was recently taken over by husband and wife team, Alex and Kate Rocks, behind the award-winning Sheer Rocks restaurant. They have infused the Pigeon Beach venue with their own flair, honouring old favourites and revitalising the core dishes that have long made Catherine’s a favourite among foodies from far and wide.
Two new beach areas provide a shady lounge spot with hammocks and day beds, ideal for languid afternoons. The playlist is a tip of the hat to the iconic Parisian café scene. Think the sleekness of Saint-Germain-style music with the relaxed vibe of a beach club.
This exquisite long-running restaurant perfectly blends classic French fare with innovative contemporary influences and a cool, fun Caribbean atmosphere.

VILLA LUCIA

Natural tones and clean lines help Villa Lucia meld subtly into the landscape. The contemporary Caribbean architecture is complemented by plentiful outdoor spaces affording sweeping ocean scenes. The very first villa on the Windward Bay Estate was completed in December 2016 allowing its proud owners to enjoy Christmas in their arresting new home. Encompassing 14,000 square feet of living and entertainment space, Villa Lucia is a vision in understated elegance, a muted palette and chic minimalist décor. Open sides and abundant large windows fill the interior with air and light. Set on an acre of land, the property is spread across two levels for an enhanced feeling of privacy. Upstairs comprises the main living quarters, two spacious and well-appointed bedrooms and access to the pool, shaded terraces, sundeck, outdoor bar and barbeque. Downstairs are four additional bedrooms each with their own verandah. An al fresco bathroom features a luxurious oversized bath, encased in gardens and a stone wall. Villa Lucia’s open plan concept has been thoughtfully designed so that all rooms open onto an impressive internal garden set in the central area of the house. The generous infinity-edged pool overlooks the ocean and the gardens are profuse with tropical flowers and coconut palms.

VILLA VPA

VPA Villa is a vision in ivory-toned stone, offset by burnished metal window frames and wooden louvres, and overlooking a dramatic expanse of brilliant blue ocean.
The exquisite craftsmanship of local stonemasons is showcased in the perfectly sculpted walls and graceful pillars which give this seven-bedroom property with separate guest cottage its edge. VPA Villa’s natural hues allow it to blend into the surrounding landscape while its elevated hillside setting magnifies the exceptional views of white sand beaches and the bustling harbour to one side.
The vast pool fitted with luxurious alpine tiles has been ideally positioned before a stretch of uninterrupted sea. There is a shaded outdoor dining and barbecue area, and ample terraces and sundecks. Shaded sections at the front of the house, along with large windows and sliding doors, help keep VPA Villa immaculate interior cool and comfortable.
The property also has a cinema room and garage with parking spaces for three vehicles.
